Privacy Policy

Social Video Downloader is a local tool created by Halcyon Aegis Internet to help users inspect downloadable formats for public social videos they have permission to save.

Information Processed

The app processes the video URL you submit and passes it to the local downloader service. If you use the login fallback, platform cookies stay in the local Chrome profile configured on this machine.

Storage

The app may use local Laravel session files to show form errors and status messages. It does not intentionally store downloaded videos, account passwords, or submitted URLs in a database.

Third-Party Platforms

Downloads and metadata are provided by the social platforms through their public pages or your own logged-in browser session. Your use remains subject to each platform's terms and creator rights.

Your Responsibility

Only download videos you own or have permission to save. Do not use this tool to bypass private content, paywalls, DRM, or access controls.
