Choose MP4, MP3, or GIF
Use MP4, MP3, and GIF based on output needs:  when clarity depends on what the audience will use the clip for.
Use MP4 when you need a normal video clip. Use MP3 when only the audio matters. Use GIF for tiny visual loops, reactions, or simple visual references where sound is not needed.
Quality matters too. Balanced quality is usually the best default. Small quality helps when file size matters. HD is better when the clip will be edited, presented, or archived.
Keep source-platform limits in mind
Some platforms sign media URLs for a short time. If a loaded video expires, paste the original public URL again and reload it before cutting. This keeps the cutter working from fresh media instead of stale links.
