Page links and media links are different
The public post URL is the page you see in your browser. The media URL is the temporary file or stream location generated by the platform behind the scenes.
Many platforms sign media URLs so they only work for a short time. That helps platforms control delivery, prevent hotlinking, and route video through their own systems.
What expiration looks like
An expired media URL may produce an error, a tiny file, a blank video, or a failed preview. The original public page may still be fine, but the temporary media address needs to be refreshed.
The fix is simple
- Return to the original public post URL.
- Paste it into MyToolsNext again.
- Click Find Video to get fresh media options.
- Download or cut the video shortly after the options appear.
Avoid stale buttons
If you leave a results page open for a long time, the old download buttons may point to expired media. Refreshing the analysis gives the app a clean set of current options.
